About Peter

I have worked as a social researcher for nearly twenty years in academia, the public and charitable sector.

I am currently Managing Editor of the Journal of Probation and a research associate in the Department of Nursing and Psychiatry, Manchester Metropolitan University

I have worked as a researcher at three universities including two in the Russel Group, and at a prominent policy research institute.

I have a PhD in Criminal Justice Studies from the University of Leeds School of Law, one of the top law schools in the country.

I have expertise in quantitative and qualitative research and I have taught research methods and writing skills on UG and PGR programs.

I have published and co-authored articles and book chapters, including textbook chapters published by Oxford University Press, and in leading academic journals and other forums.

About the lesson

I teach one to one remotely.

I offer thesis tuition to masters and PHD students and occasionally work with undergraduates who are studying as a mature student.

I can help you pass your thesis, I can guide you on writing, research methods and analysis. I can also assist in setting deadlines and managing your time.

I work with a student to first establish what they need to do and what they need to learn, and then together we put together an action plan and break it down into manageable chunks. In each lesson we will work towards achieving that plan and I will also set homework for the student to do at home.

I generally work with mature students who have had a professional or working background of some kind before going to university.

I have also worked extensively with students whose first language is not English, including from Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

I do not haggle and will not reduce my fees except where block bookings are made and paid for in advance.

Perfect! His knowledge about writing an excellent dissertation or even a report is phenomenal because he tries to explain the topic in its simplest form. I would definitely recommend peter for those who are struggling to write their Research report in the first place.
