About Bonnie

I hold a master's degree in sociology from University of Washington and an undergraduate degree in sociology from UC Berkeley. I taught sociological coursework and methodology to undergraduates at UW. I also taught English in France after 6 years of French courses and have tutored french at the high school level. I spent a decade working independently as a behavior consultant with children and young adults with special needs and/or developmental delays.

About the lesson

I approach teaching by getting to know my student and learning about their needs foremost. I am a flexible and patient teacher having worked with all ages. I try to convey subject matter concisely with concrete examples. I tend toward natural methodologies so I will incorporate student tailored interests.
