About Soumya Kanta
I am Soumya Kanta Das. Currently I am a Software Developer with my background in Computer Science from NIT Rourkela. About my work experience, I have done a couple of Software Development Internships where I got to work with MERN Stack and some of the Dev Op tools, mainly Docker and Prometheus. I have been involved in competitive programming for 3+ years now (CodeChef Handle - 'pikuskd_32') and maintaining a CGPA of 9+ in my college, I also have a strong conceptual hold over core Computer Science subjects like Operating Systems, DBMS and others. I am also involved in the domain of Machine Learning wherein I have worked on Human Gait Analysis for 2+ years now.

I believe in one-to-one classes with regular brainstorming discussions and practice sessions. I tend to discuss the curriculum with the student first and customize the sessions accordingly. My classes are for those : 1. who want to learn different programming languages 2. who are willing to be an expert in competitive programming 3. who want to get strong conceptual hold over programming languages and computer science subjects 4. who want to prepare for competitions like ICPC, Google Code Jam, Google Kickstart and many more 5. who want to set their foundations in Software Development 6. who want to pursue Computer Science as a major in future Along with all these I also tend to conduct bi-weekly contests and timed-practice sessions for improving the problem-solving skills.
