About Moe
I'm a software engineer, and I've spent 400+ hours teaching kids aged 8–14 to build things that actually run.
How I teach. Every lesson produces something the student can play and show someone. We don't start with syntax — we start with the game they want to make, then work backwards to the concepts they need to build it. A kid who wants a moving platform in their obby will learn loops, variables and conditionals to get it, and they'll remember them, because they needed them for something they cared about.

A typical lesson. First 10 minutes, they show me what they changed since last time and we fix whatever broke. Next 30, one new concept, taught inside their own project rather than on a worksheet. Last 15, they build with it themselves while I watch and only step in when they're genuinely stuck. Every session ends with working code and a small task for the week.
What sets me apart. I'm a working engineer, not someone reading from a course. When a student asks "why doesn't this work," they get a real debugging process — which is the actual skill, and the one most classes skip. I teach in both English and Arabic. And I've taken students the whole way from Scratch blocks to writing Python, so nobody hits a wall when drag-and-drop stops being enough.
Who these lessons are for. Ages 8–14, from complete beginners to kids already tinkering in Roblox Studio. Scratch and Roblox Studio (Lua) for younger or newer students; Python and school-level math for those ready to move up. No prior experience needed — most of my students start with none.
