About Angelin
Hi! I'm a 26-year-old native Tamil speaking Software Engineer from India, currently completing my Master's degree in Information Technology in Melbourne. Tamil is my mother tongue and I am passionate about helping young children in Melbourne stay connected to our beautiful language and culture.
I am patient, friendly and experienced in working with young learners. I understand how children think and learn, and I always make sure my students feel comfortable and confident in every lesson. Being far from home myself, I know how important it is for families here to keep their cultural roots alive — and I genuinely love being a part of that journey.

I teach Tamil to primary school children from Grade 1 to Grade 5 in a fun, patient and structured way. As a native Tamil speaker from India, I make lessons engaging through stories and interactive activities suited to young learners.
Each lesson is 60 minutes long and covers reading, writing, speaking and basic grammar — tailored to your child's current level. Beginners start with the Tamil alphabet and simple words, while more advanced students work on sentences, short stories and conversation skills.
I provide weekly progress updates to parents and assign simple homework to reinforce learning between sessions. Lessons are available online via Zoom or in-person in Melbourne.
