About Pola
I am a student soon to be majoring in biochemistry at Saint Louis University. English has always been a passion of mine, and I was a straight-A student throughout all 4 years of the English courses I took in high school. Some of the classes I took included: accelerated English, accelerated English II, AP English Language and Composition, and AP English Literature and Composition. I also tutored other English students while in high school.

My teaching method varies depending on the student. When it comes to creative/essay writing, I'll start out by having the student write a rough draft of their ideas/topic. I will then go through the draft one step at a time (with the student, of course) and help revise any mistakes, fix grammatical errors, and organize ideas. In terms of literature tutoring, I will help the student divide sections of their reading assignments and go through each section with them in order to help them fully understand the material at hand.
