About Jada

Hello! My name is Jada Blanche, and I am a college student at Stony Brook University, majoring in Marine Vertebrate Biology. Although math was never my strong suit growing up, my experience with various STEM classes has significantly improved my skills. With a little practice and dedication, anyone can excel in their education—I am living proof of that! Additionally, I have experience in training, teaching, and even serving as the president of a high school club, which has further fueled my passion for helping others learn.

About the lesson

I believe that every student has the right to learn in a way that resonates with them, rather than sitting through long, tedious lectures. Learning should be engaging and fun, focusing on topics that truly matter to each learner and are relevant to the real world. My tutoring process begins with a personalized quiz to uncover how each student learns best and how I can support them effectively. From there, I create customized lesson plans designed to fit their unique interests and needs. Students can explore the lesson materials at their own pace, incorporating a mix of definitions, practice problems, and relevant videos. To ensure progress and understanding, we’ll meet at least once a week via Zoom or phone call to address any questions, revisit concepts, and deepen knowledge. I also offer assistance with schoolwork and can develop practice tests or exams if desired. Let’s make learning enjoyable and tailored just for you!
