About Tasniya
My name is Tasniya Rahman, and I have been tutoring for the last five years. I have worked at a tutoring establishment called Mathnasium (2 years), privately tutored several students (2 years), and volunteered to tutor refugee children (4 years). I love creating a comfortable and safe environment for my students where they do not feel any sort of pressure or discouragement. I want my students to succeed, and I promise to treat them with respect, kindness, and care.

I will first listen to what the student wants to achieve through tutoring (what subjects they need help with, their academic goals, etc.). Then, I will assess their strengths and weaknesses through testing them on specific problems on the subject they are seeking help for. Problem solving is at the heart of engineering, so as an engineer, I can understand where my students struggle and find unique ways to explain concepts in a manner where they can better understand them. This has immensely helped while working with the students I have tutored before. I am looking to tutor students anywhere from elementary school to high school.
