About Shoon Lae

I am an experienced Writing and Reading tutor currently working at my college’s tutoring center. I help students strengthen their reading comprehension, academic writing, and critical thinking skills in a way that feels supportive and encouraged. I understand that learning English—whether it’s for essays, reading analysis, or improving your writing flow—can feel overwhelming at times. About the lesson

My teaching style is a student centered learning style where students usually start with their questions and then I provide the techniques and resources to fully perceive the context idea. My typical lesson plan with college students is to answer the student's questions. If I am teaching the primary or high school students, I have my materials to instruct each topic and always customize the resources to meet each student's specific needs. I can tutor a wide range of students starting from the primary school students to college students.
