About Riko

I’m a final year anthropology and international development student at Sussex University. I’m from Japan and a big foodie and music lover! When I was in Tokyo, I worked at a private tutoring agency and taught basic school subjects to children. I really enjoy tutoring and working with people from different backgrounds. I’ve been teaching Japanese in Brighton for over a year now and worked with 8-10 wonderful students. Feel free to ask me any questions and I look forward to hearing from you.

About the lesson

I’m flexible and always happy to accommodate my students’ requests or needs, adapting my teaching methods to students’ level, preferences, and goals. I’ve taught diverse students in various ways, including a textbook based, conversational, and activities which are helpful especially for kids (we’ve done some cooking too!) I would be delighted to support and be part of your Japanese journey :) Feel free to drop me any questions.
