About Alina
My interest in Spanish began through travel experiences and curiosity about global communication and culture. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Hispanic Studies followed by a Master’s Degree in Hispanic Language and Cultural Studies. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds to help them build fluency and confidence.
I believe language learning should feel practical, engaging, and accessible. My teaching style focuses on real-life conversation practice, structured explanation, and interactive learning methods that help students understand Spanish naturally. I encourage students to speak freely because confidence grows through practice and interaction.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Spanish literature, listening to Latin music, and studying cultural traditions. Staying connected to the language helps me bring fresh ideas into lessons. Teaching Spanish is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students communicate confidently. My goal is to support every learner in speaking Spanish naturally and comfortably.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students speak confidently through practical conversation practice, structured grammar support, and interactive learning activities. I teach pronunciation, vocabulary expansion, sentence formation, listening comprehension, reading skills, and fluency development in a calm and supportive environment. Students learn how consistent practice improves communication ability and confidence naturally. Every lesson is designed to feel simple, engaging, and effective.
Lessons are adapted according to each learner’s level and goals. Beginners focus on greetings, pronunciation practice, and basic sentence structures, while advanced learners work on fluent conversation, writing improvement, listening accuracy, and expressive communication. I include roleplays, storytelling exercises, guided discussions, and reading activities regularly because active participation strengthens learning effectively. Students receive gentle correction that helps them improve without stress or confusion.
I aim to create a relaxed space where students feel comfortable speaking Spanish without fear of mistakes. Many learners struggle with hesitation, so I focus on gradual confidence building through practice and encouragement. Over time, students become more fluent, expressive, and confident. Spanish becomes easier when learners feel supported and motivated throughout their journey.
