• What motivates you to tutor and why?

  I help my students become the people they want to become

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of any why?

  A former teacher of mine: Graciela Hanh, she is my inspiration

• What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?

  Getting people to believe you in the beginning when you tell them: I can help you transform and therefore learn.

• In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?

  Learning a new language is uncomfortable but I teach with very fun activities and I make sure my students laugh and laugh during the class. This is my secret ingredient.

• What would you say to a student who says, "this is too difficult, I give up"?

  It's only happened once and I told the student: give me two more lessons and let's see if you feel the same.

• How does someone become a Super Tutor?

  By constantly designing new lessons specific to each student's needs and progress. No size fits all, every lesson must be unique and able to identify with the student's personality and language abilities.
