About Laura

Hi, I'm Laura! I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and more than 12 years ago I moved to Europe, so I consider myself a citizen of the world. I studied Social Communication at university and then I did a master's degree in Marketing and Business Management in Spain. Learning languages is an activity that I am as passionate about as traveling. I truly believe it is a great way to open your mind, create new synapses, and connect with other people. Immersing yourself in a new language allows you to explore different cultures, beliefs, and lifestyles; all without even having to buy a plane or train ticket! Don't you think it's amazing? ️

About the lesson

Learning a language is a fun and enriching experience that expands your mind. You will build bridges between cultures and discover a new world. My sessions will look like this: 1. Student-centered: the student's interests will be the starting point for structuring the content of the classes. 2. Communicative focus: relevant and useful content so you can interact in real life. 3. Collaborative: you will interact with native speakers to improve your listening and speaking skills. 4. Homework (optional): if you are up for it, I can assign activities for you to complete outside of the sessions to help you continue to immerse yourself in the language.
