About Sydney
I am a native US citizen that has lived in both Spain and Brazil. I am considered advanced in Spanish, fluent in Portuguese, and have both academic and immersive experience with the Spanish language. I was a level 2 CRLA certified Spanish tutor for over two years in college and graduated summa cum laude with a dual bachelors degree in Spanish and in Applied Mathematics. I am very passionate about language and culture!
In Spain I lived in Málaga and in Brazil I lived in Santa Catarina (both are cities located in the south of their respective country). While in Spain, I also studied some Latin, learning to foundation of these Romance languages. I'm passionate about traveling and hope to soon learn Italian.

I've studied Spanish both academically and in day to day life via immersion. I specialize in tutoring those who, like myself, are not heritage speakers, but are passionate about learning a secondary language and potentially living/traveling abroad. Lesson plans as a professional tutor at my university included levels 1-4 of Spanish specializing in grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure. The lessons are for those wishing to learn the Spanish Language.
