About Deborah
"Role play and listening practice remain the cornerstones of the instruction I provide to those beginning their journey or preparing for relocation. I draw on 12 years of teaching VCE and DELE prep to guide students through the nuances of Latin American and Castilian variants.
My background includes a BA in Spanish from Monash University and extensive work with diverse learners. These interactions allow me to explain idioms or accent shifts with clarity and cultural precision. I have helped countless students achieve 45 plus study scores or Band 6 marks over the last decade.
My perspective is shaped by a deep connection to both Australian and Latin American traditions. I find that maintaining a patient, articulate, and culturally fluent approach helps students feel comfortable during our discussions. Whether you are an absolute beginner or an intermediate learner, I adjust my methods to meet your current level.

I utilize my BA from Monash University to frame our work within the broader context of how language is actually spoken by native speakers. We focus heavily on writing skills, intonation, and practical travel Spanish to ensure you can navigate new environments with ease.
