About Samuel

With 7 years of teaching experience, I honed my skills after studying Spanish at both Morehouse College and La Universidad Veritas in Costa Rica. My teaching journey has taken me to various corners of the globe, where I've imparted language knowledge in independent, public, and charter schools. I've also conducted personalized lessons that cater to students of diverse ages, backgrounds, and proficiency levels. My main goal is to equip my students with the tools to become self-reliant language users, always emphasizing the motto, "Use what you know to get where you need to go"

About the lesson

My teaching style in my Spanish class revolves around breaking down complex language concepts into manageable parts, ensuring that learning is accessible and engaging for all my students. I find great joy in creating an exciting and interactive learning environment, where my students feel motivated to explore the language with enthusiasm. I strongly believe in empowering my students to step out of their comfort zones and take risks in their language journey, knowing that making mistakes is an essential part of learning and growth. Through a combination of clear explanations, interactive activities, and a supportive atmosphere, I aim to nurture confident and adventurous language learners in my classroom.
