About Yash
I hold an M.A. in Spanish Language and Hispanic Studies and have 12 years of experience teaching Spanish to students from diverse backgrounds. My academic journey deepened my understanding of both linguistic structure and cultural context, which I bring into every lesson to make learning meaningful and engaging. My teaching style is patient, structured, and adaptable. I take time to understand each student’s goals and learning pace, adjusting explanations to ensure clarity and confidence. I believe mistakes are an essential part of learning and encourage students to practice without fear or hesitation. Outside of teaching, I stay connected to Spanish through literature, media, and cultural studies. Teaching Spanish is deeply rewarding because I see students grow from uncertainty to confident communication. Supporting their language journey and cultural curiosity is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students move beyond memorization and develop genuine comfort using the language in real situations. I focus on pronunciation clarity, sentence structure, verb conjugation, listening comprehension, and conversational flow so learners can communicate with confidence. Lessons are calm, supportive, and interactive, encouraging students to speak frequently while steadily improving accuracy and understanding.
Beginners work on foundational grammar, essential vocabulary, correct pronunciation, and simple everyday conversations. Intermediate learners expand their ability to use different tenses, understand spoken Spanish, read short texts, and participate in guided discussions. Advanced students refine fluency, idiomatic expression, writing structure, and cultural nuance through deeper conversation and contextual learning. Each lesson balances explanation, repetition, and practical usage.
Learning Spanish also strengthens memory, confidence, and cultural awareness. Students often become more expressive and open-minded as they engage with the language. My goal is to help learners feel relaxed, capable, and motivated to use Spanish naturally in academic, professional, and social settings.
