About Rachael
I have been a Spanish tutor since college, where I gave one-on-one instruction and also led weekly language circles to increase the confidence of verbal expression, as well as provide an opportunity to practice the art of conversation in a foreign language. Each student has a unique learning style, as well as unique challenges, but every student can and will improve with my help.

I studied the Spanish language and hispanic literature from an academic perspective in my college coursework, but during my time abroad in Mendoza, Argentina, and my local experiences with native speakers from other Latin American countries, I've learned how best to absorb the verbal and cultural fluency that can be attained from observation and practice. I use a combination of oral expression, aural comprehension, and relevant texts to improve students' understanding.
