About Paulina

I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident in the person supporting their child’s education. As a college student enrolled in a languages program, I bring both academic training and real-world experience to my tutoring. My journey began in high school, where I volunteered in a language support program helping newly arrived immigrants overcome language barriers and integrate more comfortably into their new environment. This experience strengthened my ability to teach with patience, empathy, and adaptability.

In addition, I have one year of hands-on tutoring experience working closely with a 7 y/o student. I supported her daily learning in French while also introducing her to English, helping her build confidence and consistency in both languages. As a native Spanish speaker, I also understand the challenges and advantages of learning multiple languages, which allows me to connect easily with students from diverse backgrounds. I approach every lesson with professionalism, preparation, and care. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to create a structured, positive, and respectful learning environment where they feel supported and motivated to succeed.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered on building strong, supportive connections with my students. Through my tutoring experience, I’ve developed the ability to adapt my methods to each learner’s personality and needs, creating an environment where they feel comfortable, motivated, and confident.

I focus on making lessons both engaging and low-stress by combining structured learning with interactive, dynamic activities. My sessions typically include a balance of writing, reading, and communication exercises, while also leaving room for creative and hands-on tasks that keep students actively involved.

What sets me apart is my emphasis on creating an “educational comfort zone.” I prioritize making students feel at ease so they can express themselves freely, ask questions, and enjoy the learning process. This approach is especially effective for the age group I work with children from 7 to teens up to 15, helping them build both skills and confidence in a natural, enjoyable way.
