About Meritt
I strive to provide high-quality learning experience to all my students. I have tutored students from middle school to high school as well as business professionals looking to improve their business vocabulary and conversational skills. I understand each students in unique and I tailored my teaching methods and materials to meet individual needs.
As someone that was born in Mexico, I love the Spanish language and culture and helping people learn this language brings me lots of joy.

I focuse on effective communication and interactive learning. My general approach is:
1- Initial evaluation of the student's Spanish level
2- Goal setting
3- Resources and tools. I utilize different resources such as text books, songs, audiovisual to make the learning experience interactive and efficient
3- Review of grammar and vocabulary in a practical way
4- Conversation. I think this is a very important aspect when learning a new language. I give opportunities for the student to practice listening and speaking
5- Feedback
6- Homework when applicable
