About Ana Elsa
I am a Spanish teacher from Bogotá, Colombia. I graduated in Modern Languages and I have been teaching Spanish for 20 years, both ways face-to-face and online. I have been teaching Spanish on other platforms to different students: teenagers and adults. I have experience from beginners to advanced levels and I prepare my own material trying to work on all the skills according to the student's level. Feel sure that through a study plan according to your interests, we can work together to help you achieve the goals you are looking for; with me you will improve your verbal and written fluency, because I will use a pleasant methodology with which you feel comfortable, so that with patience and discipline we can achieve great goals. I would love to meet you and be your tutor and invite you to work together to help you achieve those goals that are so important to you. Feel free to book a class with me. I hope to see you soon! What students say Stephanie I have absolutely adored my lessons! She’s an amazing tutor and super kind and helpful. I struggle a lot with confidence (even though I grew up in a bilingual household) I never learned proper grammar and my vocabulary isn’t all that fabulous so she’s been working with me to help me fill in all the gaps in my Spanish. I live in a predominantly Spanish speaking area and I already feel more confident communicating in my community. One of my favorite things is being able to read out loud and have her help me correct my pronunciation or accent emphasis. I feel like my pacing has gotten better. All the lessons are custom tailored which I think is wonderful. Five stars! Ricardo Ana is a very dedicated and competent teacher. She always tries to enrich my classes with good materials previously prepared with great care. In our classes she is very attentive to the important details for a good oral and written communication. Veronika Elsa is a fantastic tutor. Her lessons are amazing and she is doing her best to personalize the material to the interests of the students. I absolutely love my classes with her and I strongly recommend her to everybody who would like to learn Spanish. Leonid I am new to Spanish and very much appreciate Ana Elsa support. She is very patient, knowledgeable and thorough. Her lessons are always fun and filled with new materials to learn and practice.

My teaching methodology depends on the goals and levels of the students. If students have a low level of Spanish, I focus on vocabulary with images, simple sentences, pronunciation and basic grammar. If they have an intermediate level, I prepare lessons in which we work on grammar with practical exercises, reading comprehension, pronunciation, conversation and writing. For an advanced level, I focus more on conversation based on topics of interest to the student and on writing, so that at this stage, the student demonstrates both verbal and written fluency.

After more than a month of classes with her, I'm convinced she provides much more than you'll pay. She is obviously experienced as a classroom teacher. You'll get your grammar, the practical application of it, and a little to review and test yourself with at home. I've worked in schools myself (in America). This is the way, if you're done spending money on flirting and incoherent jabbering. Smart, friendly lady. Now go for a surf.
Ana is an excellent teacher! She has been teaching me for over a year and I've improved so much! I highly recommend her!
