About Elicia

I am a currently studying Economics and Spanish at the University of Birmingham and have always had a passion for languages, having studied Latin to GCSE level, French to AS level and continued to study Spanish at degree level.

I have a sound knowledge of the foundations of Romance languages as well as an enthusiasm for speaking them. This is a passion I would like to share with younger students, as well as helping those who are struggling to find some enjoyment in learning a language all whilst seeing improvement in academic results.

I have experience working with children at a range of ages for many years through volunteering in various sporting clubs and work as a gymnastics coach. I am also DBS checked and have a Level 1 Child Safeguarding qualification.

About the lesson

I will work with tutees to identify their personal areas of concern, and furthermore their preferred styles of learning. In order to optimise both the enjoyability of their lessons as well as their attainment of class grades/exam results.

Having studied the language at both GCSE level (grade 9) and A level (grade A*), I am confident that I can work alongside a student’s class lessons and follow exam specifications to compliment their school learning and achieve excellent results.
