About Delia

I am passionate about Hispanic literature and culture, which is the focus of my PhD at the Colegio de Michoacán. In my free time I dance at a flamenco studio and design and sew clothes for my friends and family. My spouse is from Wales and I have no problem arranging classes and discussing your goals in English. I am currently based in Guadalajara, México and offer online courses in the UK.

About the lesson

I am a native Spanish Speaker from México. I have also studied linguistics and Spanish language literature and I am currently completing a PhD in Human Science. I have over 5 years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language (ELE), with both adults as well as children aged from 3 to 15. In the past I've prepared students for the DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera applied by the Instituto Cervantes). Several of my child students have been prepared to enter Spanish speaking education, while my adult students have been helped to enter the Hispanic workforce.

Perfect! I have really enjoyed my lessons with Delia so far! I like how she plans her lessons with the learner's goals in mind. She provides extra materials such as Spanish tv recommendations, YouTube videos, and a Spotify playlist, as well as homework so you are able to practice in your spare time (if you want to). She is a lovely tutor and very easy to get along with.
