About Esme
My passion for Spanish developed from an interest in international culture, communication, and language learning during my education. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages before earning a Master’s Degree in Hispanic Language Studies. During the last 9 years, I have helped students improve language confidence through practical teaching and interactive learning methods.
I believe language lessons should feel welcoming and adaptable for every learner. Some students improve through conversation and listening activities, while others prefer grammar explanation and vocabulary exercises. My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and steady progress so students can build confidence comfortably while learning Spanish.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Latin American literature, practicing translation activities, and studying cultural traditions from Spanish-speaking countries. Staying connected to the language helps me bring authentic examples into lessons. Teaching Spanish is rewarding because I enjoy helping students communicate more naturally and connect with new cultures confidently.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students communicate naturally through structured learning and engaging conversation practice. I teach pronunciation, grammar foundations, vocabulary development, listening comprehension, sentence building, and conversational Spanish using interactive exercises that make learning comfortable and enjoyable. Lessons are designed to improve fluency, confidence, and understanding while creating a warm and supportive learning environment.
Beginners improve through guided dialogues, pronunciation drills, and repetition exercises that gradually strengthen communication skills. Intermediate learners develop stronger grammar accuracy, listening ability, and conversational confidence through roleplay activities and structured discussion tasks. Advanced students focus on fluent communication, cultural understanding, and advanced expression with deeper language development. I also include storytelling activities and real-life scenarios that help students improve naturally.
Spanish becomes easier when students actively use the language instead of memorizing vocabulary without practical application. My lessons encourage confidence, curiosity, and consistent communication while helping learners improve steadily. I want students to become more expressive, comfortable, and confident while using Spanish in everyday situations.
