About Alexander
Learning a language is about much more than grammar. It's about feeling comfortable enough to use it when it really matters.
Before moving to the UK, I taught at university level for more than ten years across different subject areas. I also have experience at a strategic level across the public sector, independent consultancy and international cooperation. Today, I teach Spanish to adult learners at Abingdon & Witney College, as well as private students with a wide range of personal and professional goals.
Every student has a different reason for learning. Some need Spanish for work. Others travel regularly to Spain or across the Spanish-speaking world, have Spanish-speaking family or friends, or simply enjoy learning languages. Whatever your goal, I'll adapt each lesson to your needs, pace and interests.
As a native Spanish speaker who has also learned foreign languages, I understand both the challenges and the rewards of learning to communicate in another language. My aim is to help you use Spanish with confidence through well-prepared, personalised lessons that fit your goals and your life.

From the first lesson, I'll encourage you to speak Spanish in a relaxed and supportive environment. I don't expect perfect Spanish. I'd rather help you use the Spanish you already know and build on it step by step.
Lessons combine conversation, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, listening and reading, always with a practical focus. We build your Spanish through real conversations and situations that are relevant to you, introducing new language naturally as your confidence grows. My goal is simple: to help you enjoy learning Spanish and use it with confidence in real-life situations.
