He is able to convey difficult topics with ease AND makes it fun at the same time - by making it visual, talking about the history & etymology of a word, or by explaining how different dialects may differ.
If you're looking for someone to help you build a good foundation, or strengthen areas your weak in - Maxim should be your go-to.

Maxime is a fun and reliable teacher. He has adjusted the lessons to my level when we started, and he is also able to read the room and adjust a specific class to my mood and energy, while still pushing me. He alternates between grammar and conversation so it doesn't get repeatitive, and gets back to old lessons when necessary, always in a good atmosphere :)

Maxim is my Arabic teacher since a year.
In this year he has always been punctual in class, precise in his explanations and very patient with me (I often forget to do my homework... Ops ). The conversations are always interesting and we often end up laughing together.

I first met him in Beirut at the Arabic school where he was teaching when I came to Lebanon to study Arabic.
Since I've been back in the Netherlands, we've continued the online sessions. He's been teaching me Levantine Arabic for 2 years now and was able to motivate me despite the distance, which proves that you can learn a language from anywhere ! He's very nice and funny and easy to get along with. However, he knows how to challenge me as a student to make me improve. Grammar is the hardest for me but he always makes it ludic and interesting. I've had lessons with different teachers before, but Maxim has by far the best method for me.
