About Didem

I am a dedicated English teacher with a strong background in special education and science. Having graduated with high honors and gained years of classroom experience, I bring a well-rounded approach to teaching. I love making lessons interactive and engaging by using tools like Canva, Kahoot, Padlet, Nearpod, and Wordwall. I don’t just focus on reading and writing — I put a big emphasis on speaking and communication, using role-plays, body language practice, and real-life scenarios to help my students gain confidence. My training spans STEM, public speaking, and entrepreneurship, and I’ve had the chance to participate in international Erasmus+ projects that shaped my global teaching perspective. I’m committed to continuous growth and always strive to give every student the support they need to succeed in English and beyond.

About the lesson

As a private tutor, I design every lesson to match each student’s unique needs and learning style. I know that everyone learns at their own pace, so I use evidence-based tools and creative strategies to make lessons both effective and fun. For speaking, I focus on real-life conversations, role-plays, and interactive activities that help students gain confidence and fluency.
To keep things engaging, I use Canva for visualisation, and platforms like Kahoot and Quizizz for interactive quizzes and games. In special education, I bring in creative tools that boost motivation, turning learning into a meaningful and enjoyable journey. My goal is not just to improve academic skills, but also to help every student express themselves clearly and confidently in speech.
