About Giada

Ciao! I'm a qualified Italian L2 teacher with 8 years of experience teaching Italian to learners of different ages and levels, both online and in person.

I love teaching Italian because language is so much more than grammar and vocabulary. It gives you the opportunity to communicate with people, discover a different culture and feel more confident navigating real-life situations.

As a teacher, I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and trying out their Italian without worrying about getting everything perfect. I believe that confidence is an important part of learning a language, and I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where you can genuinely enjoy making progress.

I particularly enjoy working with adults and adapting lessons to what each student wants to achieve. Whether you're learning Italian for travel, reconnecting with a language you studied in the past, improving your conversation skills or working towards a qualification, I will tailor our lessons to you.

I use a mixture of conversation, practical activities, authentic Italian materials, games and grammar when it is useful. My aim is always to help you move beyond the textbook and start using Italian naturally and confidently.

Learn Italian beyond the textbook!
My teaching approach

I use a communicative and personalised approach. My aim is not just to teach you grammar, but to help you actually use Italian.

Lessons can include:

* Conversation and speaking practice
* Grammar and vocabulary, only when useful
* Games and interactive activities
* Authentic materials such as magazines, menus and advertisements
* Italian culture, traditions and everyday life
* Activities tailored to your interests and goals

I want lessons to be engaging, practical and relevant, while still giving you the structure and guidance you need to progress.

Who are my lessons for?

I teach learners aged 15+ at all levels, from beginners to advanced students, although most of my experience is with adults.

I can help you with:

* Improving conversation and confidence
* Italian for travel and everyday life
* Developing an existing level of Italian
* Grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening
* Italian language and culture
* Preparation for Italian language certification for citizenship

Lesson format

Lessons are 60 minutes and take place online. Each lesson is adapted to your level, learning style and objectives.

£30 per 60-minute lesson
