About Yoshi
Hello, I’m Yoshi, a native Japanese speaker and professional photographer from Japan.
I studied education and art at university, and I have lived in several parts of Japan, including Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Okinawa, and Nagano.
Because of these experiences, I can share not only the Japanese language, but also real information about regional culture, everyday customs, food, travel, and life in Japan.
I love photography, traveling, and learning about different cultures.
I try to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where you can speak freely, ask questions, and make mistakes without feeling nervous.
Beginners are very welcome.
Lessons are mainly conducted in Japanese, but I can use clear and simple English to support beginners when needed. I am also learning Spanish, so I can offer a little support in basic Spanish.

My lessons are mainly for adult beginners and lower-intermediate learners who want to use Japanese for travel, everyday life, and natural conversation.
We can practice with real-life role-plays, photos, maps, menus, signs, and situations that you may experience in Japan.
Rather than only memorizing grammar, you will learn what Japanese people actually say, how expressions change depending on the situation, and how to communicate naturally and politely.
As a professional photographer, I can also use photos of Japan as conversation material.
If you enjoy photography or traveling, we can use your own photos to practice describing places, experiences, and memories in Japanese.
I will correct your mistakes gently and explain the reasons as clearly as possible.
I will also adjust the pace and lesson content to your level, interests, and goals.
Whether you are preparing for a trip to Japan, improving your speaking confidence, or simply interested in Japanese culture, we can create practical and enjoyable lessons together.
