About Kurt

Hola! I’m Kurt, a Spanish tutor from Chile with over 6 years of experience helping students from around the world. I mainly work with adults, from complete beginners to advanced learners, and I’ve had the pleasure of teaching hundreds of people with different backgrounds, interests, and reasons for learning Spanish.

As a lifelong language learner myself, I understand the excitement of making progress—and the frustration of struggling to say something you know how to express in your own language. I speak English and Italian, and I’m currently improving my French and German, so being a learner is still very much part of my everyday life.

That experience shapes how I teach: with patience, encouragement, and room for questions and mistakes. I want you to feel comfortable trying, while knowing you’ll get honest feedback and support to keep improving.

Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about travel, content creation, music, and films. I’m always curious about other people’s experiences, too. Getting to know you and finding things we genuinely enjoy talking about is one of my favorite parts of teaching.

About the lesson

In my lessons, I use a natural and immersive approach, focusing on real-life situations so you can communicate with confidence from day one. Every class is tailored to your goals—whether travel, work, or personal growth—so you learn what truly matters to you. I combine different resources, from flashcards to interactive tasks, and adapt the lesson depending on your mood and energy to keep it engaging and effective. You can expect personalized feedback, flexible scheduling, and ongoing support inside and outside of class. My experience as both a tutor and a language learner helps me understand your challenges and guide you in a friendly, motivating way. My lessons are for all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and I make sure each student progresses at their own pace with confidence.
