About Maria Isabel

Learning a new language can feel intimidating, especially when it comes to speaking. My priority is to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing and asking questions.

I hold a degree in Language and Literature Education from my country and, after moving to the United States, pursued a career in healthcare while continuing to teach Spanish on the side. I bring over 10 years of experience tutoring students one-on-one in person, and more recently online, which allows me to adapt easily to different learning styles and goals. I’m reliable, well-prepared, and genuinely invested in my students’ progress. Each lesson is structured, encouraging, and focused on building confidence and real improvement. Students appreciate my patience, clarity, and ability to explain things in a way that finally makes sense.

About the lesson

Hola, soy Isabel, tu tutora de Español.

I’m a native Spanish speaker with a background in Education and a thorough, formal knowledge of Spanish grammar and syntax. I combine linguistic accuracy with a practical, real-life approach so you can speak Spanish clearly, confidently, and naturally.

What I offer:
• Spanish for all levels (beginner to advanced)
• Accent reduction & pronunciation coaching
• Grammar explained clearly and simply
• Conversation practice with real-world vocabulary
• Personalized lessons based on your goals
• Patient, supportive, and encouraging teaching style

My experience: I have experience teaching one-on-one, in person, which allows me to adapt quickly to each student’s learning style. I’m especially good at identifying pronunciation patterns, correcting errors gently, and helping students sound more natural and fluent.

My teaching style: Structured but relaxed. I believe learning works best when you feel comfortable, understood, and motivated. Whether you want Spanish for travel, work, daily conversation, or confidence, I’ll help you get there step by step.

Lessons are customized: no generic classes, no rushing, no pressure.

If you’re looking for a native Spanish teacher who is patient, knowledgeable, and truly focused on helping you improve, I’d love to work with you.

¡Nos vemos en clase!
