About BRENDA
I am current a Mental Health Therapist working with children, adults, and adolescents. Prior to my change in career, I was a special education teacher and special ed tutor in Los Angeles and San Francisco. I have my Masters in Urban Education from LMU and my MFT from USC. Currently, I have my preliminary credential.

My approach as a tutor/teacher is to meet the students where they are at, meaning to focus on their strengths to assist in reaching their goals. I teach with patience and understanding that allows students to see their true potential. Overall my focus is to not only assist in the academics, but also build the confidence needed to succeed.
