About Eshan
I am a freelance music teacher since 2014. Teaching both online and offline students from around the world. I specialize in teaching ABSOLUTE beginners with Zero musical background who are passionate but are usually afraid to get started due to lack of natural musical talent. It's my job as a teacher to not only teach music but to also instill confidence in the student. The following are my qualifications - 1) B.A. Hons. degree in Indian classical vocals, from Khairagarh university, Chhattisgarh. 2) Diploma in Hindustani vocals 3) B.A. Hons. Degree in English literature from Delhi University 4) Masters diploma in Mass communication from Bhartiya Kala Kendra. 5) Khayaal training, Banaras Gharana style. 6) Dhrupad, Dagarvani style.

I teach music like a new language, helping students in understanding the basic grammar & vocabulary of music. The following 5 topics are covered simultaneously in rotation :- Sur (Pitch) Raga (Scale) Taal (Rhythm) Vocal techniques Music Appreciation & Guided Listening Equipping the students with the necessary understanding of the subject that will allow them to be versatile and not get stuck with any one genre of Indian music.
