About Amelia

I have taught many students of all ages and in many different settings but since the pandemic all lessons have moved online to offer continuity and much more flexibility for the learner negating the need to factor in travelling time/ costs.

I grew up with a profoundly disabled Father this gave me a desire to work in the Arts. Communication can be made in so many ways allowing the learner to have freedom of expression and an outlet for emotion. I get so much joy in watching a nervous student flourish into a confident speaker. There are many skills I can teach you to help you overcome your nerves.

About the lesson

Lessons are 1 hour long on a one-to-one basis and are relaxed but educational. To make a learner feel relaxed is key to helping progression.

Warm up exercises, speech work and confidence boosting exercises to help motivate the learner to gain self belief.

Relaxation and breathing exercises to help stimulate the brain and to ease away any anxiety and stress.

Art for Mental Health and Wellbeing. Through creating we talk, we laugh and share emotions.
