About Cecily
"Teaching exists because I enjoy watching technical clarity emerge from deliberate practice. Since graduating with a BMus Music Performance from Queensland Conservatorium, I have worked with 373 students to refine their approach to the violin.
My sessions prioritize spiccato and staccato bowing alongside essential vibrato and scales and arpeggios. I guide beginners and advanced pupils through grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity and structured ear training. My goal is to ensure that your mechanics support your musical intent during every performance. Outside of the studio, I spend much of my time transcribing new repertoire for my learners."
