About Jacob
I am passionate about sport and exercise science and wanting to see students excel just like me. My favourite sports are swimming, football and rugby but if I am honest I like any sport. I want to teach because I enjoy seeing others excel and I want to be a part in their journey. Now that I am studying a postgraduate degree, I want to be able to teach the content that I have already learnt to those who need it the most. For those of you who are not at university yet, I believe I can provide you support to excel once you are there. For those already at university, I believe I can provide you with a stronger understanding of the modules that you wish for.

I offer tailored lessons designed to meet each student’s individual needs, whether that’s improving understanding of anatomy and physiology, learning training methods, or gaining an early insight into university-level sport science topics. For current university students, I provide support in developing a deeper understanding of key areas and guidance with assignments where needed. Lessons typically last 30–45 minutes, depending on the amount of content required. I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science and was the highest achiever in my year, with particular strengths in Strength and Conditioning, Research Methods and Physiology. Alongside my studies, I completed several work placements at football clubs, giving me practical experience in applying theory to real-world performance. My lessons are designed for students preparing to study sport science at university, as well as those already enrolled who want to strengthen their knowledge and excel academically
