About Ben

I have always loved sports from an early age and been active in amateur sports my whole life. When stopping playing football I took up coaching and gained my levels 1 and 2 coaching badges and I am now a UEFA C level coach. I have managed and coached two amateur football teams in the Middlesex county league and In the Southern Amateur League, and done some youth scouting for Barnet FC.

Since the pandemic I have got into running and it has really helped me physically and mentally, and has been a massive positive motivational force for good for me.

I want to combine my passion for running and sports in general and use it to help others achieve their goals. I get deep satisfaction from helping others improve their fitness, progress through their training and encouraging them to reach those higher levels . If you need someone that is going to motivate you to get that step further, or break through that next tough barrier, look no further. I want to help you smash those goals and set you on the path to success....

About the lesson

My approach to coaching is to listen to the needs and goals of each individual athlete/client/student. Whether you are an elite level athelete that needs a coach to manage and keep track of your running schedules, workouts, sessions and training plans or you are a beginner runner that wants help with coaching sessions, plans or motivational help I can help you achieve your goals. Together we can set a series of goals, both short term and long term, and draw up an action plan for you.

My coaching sessions are charged by the hour. The length of the session depends on your requirements but would be a minimum of 1 hour .

I time and record all athletes sessions and give them feedback via email/phonecall or zoom if they require it, whatever suits each individual best. Any extras like the hiring or use of running tracks etc would have to be paid for by the student.

I am available for coaching adults only at this stage but any ability level.

I am a UEFA C qualified football coach but am now more focused on running but I am able to coach across various sports including running, football, tennis, badminton, swimming and cycling. Cross training is an important part of a varied training routine so I can help diversify your training regime if that is also something you want.
