About Andy
After spending 6 years navigating the complexities of medical education, I understand that moving from general principles to advanced ORG CHEM can often feel challenging. I work with students who have a solid foundation but need greater confidence applying their knowledge to the high-stakes demands of the MCAT.
My approach focuses on reaction mechanisms, amines, alcohols and ethers, resonance, acidity, isomerism, retrosynthesis, and stereochemistry. I break down complex concepts into clear, logical steps so students can recognize patterns, understand why reactions occur, and apply those ideas effectively to unfamiliar problems.
There is something genuinely satisfying about seeing a perfectly drawn mechanism come together. My goal is to help students develop that same clarity while strengthening their problem-solving skills, reaction recognition, and confidence for the MCAT.
