About Scott

I love sharing my passion for trombone by making music fun, inspiring, and creative. My goal is to help every student grow into a confident, expressive musician who truly enjoys learning and finds their own voice, style, and maybe a career through music.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m a 10th-grade trombonist from Texas and a State Qualifier who consistently earns Division 1 ratings at Region and State Solo & Ensemble competitions. My lessons focus on building strong fundamentals — tone, slide technique, and musical expression — while keeping things fun and encouraging. A typical lesson starts with warm-ups and tuning, followed by scales, etudes, and pieces tailored to your goals, whether that’s concert band, marching season, or Solo & Ensemble.

What sets me apart is that I’m still an active competitor, so I understand exactly what judges look for and how to help students reach that level. My lessons are perfect for middle and high school players who want to improve fast, play with confidence, and actually enjoy the process of getting better!
