About Emil

I am a professional vocalist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist with 11 years (10+) of experience in the music industry. My training is a unique hybrid of Hindustani Classical music and the world-renowned science-based methodologies of Mary Z (Voice Hacks).

As a 1st Place State Kalotsavam winner (Guitar) and Trinity Grade 6 certified musician, I approach the voice with the precision of a trained instrumentalist. I don't just teach you how to 'sing', I teach you to understand the physics of your voice to achieve 100% pitch accuracy and professional power.

My Studio & Production Experience:
With over 8 years of experience composing melody lines, recording for side projects, and mixing professional vocals, I guide my students through the entire creative process. I don't just train you for a lesson; I train you to deliver studio-ready vocals that are ready for Spotify or YouTube, without fatigue or strain.

About the lesson

My Approach & Methods
My lessons are built on two different worlds that I’ve brought together to make learning faster:

Ear Training (Hindustani Roots): I use my Hindustani classical training to help you develop a "pro ear." This is the best way I’ve found to get 100% pitch accuracy and that soulful, solid tone that makes a singer stand out.

The How-To (Modern Mechanics): I’ve trained under Mary Z (Voice Hacks) to understand exactly how the throat works. I take the vague, confusing advice out of the equation and give you the actual physical 'shortcuts' I’ve picked up from 11 years of singing and studio recording. We focus on getting rid of tension so you can sing with power and range without hurting yourself.

Class Structure (60 Mins)
The Prep (20 mins): We don't just do scales. We do specific warm-ups to get your vocal cords ready and your breathing solid.

The Work (40 mins): This is where we fix the things you’re struggling with, whether it’s a shaky high note, a breathy sound, or just feeling "stuck." We apply these fixes to the songs you actually want to sing, so you can hear the improvement by the end of the hour.

What Makes My Lessons Different
A Musician’s Perspective: Being a Trinity Grade 6 musician, I help you with the rhythm and music theory side of things too. You won’t just be a "singer"; you’ll be a well-rounded musician.

Studio Tested: I’ve spent the last 8 years recording and producing vocals. I know what sounds good on a microphone, and I can show you how to get that "record-ready" sound from home.

Real Answers: I explain the "why." You’ll leave our sessions knowing exactly which muscles to move so you can keep improving on your own.
