About Stella
I am a student at the University of Kentucky pursuing dual degrees in Economics and Statistics & Data Science with a 4.0 GPA. I have always loved working with kids and have volunteered and tutored at multiple elementary and middle schools. I have also worked with organizations such as the Common Good Lexington and the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning, where I helped students build confidence in learning.
My tutoring approach focuses on making math understandable, encouraging, and engaging. I break down concepts into simple steps and adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s pace and learning style. A typical lesson includes reviewing concepts, working through practice problems together, and helping students feel more confident solving problems independently.
I strive to create a supportive and patient environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My lessons are best suited for elementary and middle school students who want extra support, confidence, and stronger math skills.
