About Keabetswi
My name is Keabetswi Sithole. I hold a BSc in Agronomy from the University of Zululand and I am currently completing my Master of Science in Sustainable Agriculture at Stellenbosch University. With this academic foundation, I have a strong grasp of core modules including Soil Science, Crop Production, Weed Science, Irrigation, Plant Nutrition, and Biometry.
I take tutoring seriously and maintain a professional, structured approach in every session. My goal is to help you build genuine understanding, not just short-term memorization. Because I completed my undergraduate studies recently and I am still active in postgraduate research, I understand the current course content, lecturer expectations, and the specific concepts students often find challenging.
I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged and progress is measurable. My methodology is concept-first, application-second. I start by breaking down complex Agronomy topics into simple building blocks, then link them directly to real farm systems and past paper questions so students see why it matters. What makes me unique is that I’ve sat in your lecture halls recently – I know the exact stumbling blocks in Soil Science, Biometry, and Crop Production, and I teach the shortcuts and mental models I used to master them. Lessons are exam-focused but I also train you to think like an agronomist, not just memorise. I use diagrams, field trial data, and problem sets from current SU modules to make sure you’re ready for tests and practicals.
I teach in English. A typical 1-hour lesson starts with 5 min to check what you’re stuck on, 40 min of targeted teaching + worked examples, and 15 min of practice where you solve problems while I guide. You’ll leave with clear notes, a mini action plan, and often a short worksheet to cement the topic. My lessons are aimed at undergraduate Agronomy, Plant Production, and Agricultural Science students from 1st year to 3rd year, including students repeating modules or prepping for supplementary exams. I do online or in-person sessions around Stellenbosch, one-on-one or small groups of 2-4.
