About Angela

My interest in accessible teaching grew slowly, shaped largely through early classroom experience working alongside learners who needed lessons structured differently than most textbooks assumed. About the lesson

As familiarity grows, short retelling exercises let students reuse story vocabulary in their own simple sentences, reinforcing memory through active use. Neurodivergent learners in particular benefit from clear, predictable session structure, so I avoid sudden shifts in pacing or unexpected new material. Children respond well to gentle repetition too, often surprising themselves by recalling phrases from stories covered weeks earlier. I stay flexible with pacing across both groups, adjusting quickly whenever a concept needs more time to settle.

I remind parents often that comfort and consistency matter more than speed at this stage of learning. Rushing tends to create anxiety that actually slows progress rather than helping it along.
