About Lily
I am an A-level student and the Classical Civilisation scholar for my school, and have earned prizes in all three. I have a profound love for the Ancient world and linguistics and hope to bring subjects, which are normally reserved for private schools, into the sphere of state schools. I am also more than happy to help young children with learning to read, as I have a qualification from the Bristol Reading Initiative.

As I am a student myself, I'm familiar with the struggles that come along with it. We will be working at your pace and focusing on the topics you find most difficult, even if it means reassuring you on the basics. Importantly, I am familiar with exam boards, revision techniques and mark schemes; if you are a student I will be helping you work through class work and giving guidance on essay questions. I have assisted with help sessions for GCSE Classical Civilisation. If you are new to all subjects I have a world of books and topics to get you started on and I have all the resources ready to teach a beginner.
Hopefully by the end of it you will only want to learn more, even if you don't need my help.
