About Melissa
Music has always been a way to connect with people, and teaching allows me to share that experience with my students. I enjoy helping learners feel comfortable and confident while developing their voice.
I have a Bachelor of Music and 8 years of teaching experience with teenagers and adult learners. Working with different students has helped me understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to each person.
I love seeing students achieve personal goals, whether it's improving technique, preparing for a performance, or simply enjoying singing more. Helping them grow through music is what makes teaching meaningful for me.

Learning with me means building your singing skills in a relaxed and encouraging way. I plan each lesson around your voice, goals, and musical interests, helping you improve while enjoying every step of the process.
We'll practise breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal range, rhythm, ear training, diction, harmony, tone production, song interpretation, microphone skills, and performance confidence. We can work on favourite songs, record short practice sessions, and focus on areas where you want to improve.
I'll provide simple practice routines, regular feedback, and clear goals to support your growth. Over time, you'll feel more confident using your voice and enjoy singing with better control and expression.
