About Mary
I am a passionate and reliable drum tutor with 13 years of teaching experience. I teach high school students, college students, and elderly learners. I have helped around 150 to 200 students improve their rhythm and confidence. One of the proudest moments of my career is watching my students grow from beginners into performers. Many of them now play confidently in front of large audiences. My teaching style focuses on simplicity and patience. I teach rhythm, timing, and coordination in an easy and friendly way. I motivate students to practice regularly without pressure. For elderly learners, I provide peaceful and enjoyable lessons. For younger students, I provide energetic and confidence-building training. My goal is to inspire students and help them enjoy learning drums at any age.

My drum teaching methodology is based on real-life learning, motivation, problem-solving, integrity, and flexibility. I believe students understand drumming better when they see how rhythms are used in real music. I use real songs, practice recordings, and live performance videos as case studies to explain beats, grooves, fills, and timing. This helps students connect lessons with actual playing situations and improves their confidence. Motivation is a key part of my teaching. I always encourage students and help them stay positive during their learning journey. I guide them to set small goals and enjoy steady progress. When students face problems such as weak coordination, slow foot control, or fast tempos, I apply simple problem-solving methods. I break difficult patterns into easy steps and guide students patiently. Integrity is the base of my teaching values. I believe in honest feedback, regular practice, and respect for music. Students learn discipline and responsibility along with musical skills. Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons based on each student’s age, level, learning speed, and goals. Along with drums, I also teach rhythm training, basic music theory, keyboard basics, and performance preparation.
