About Namisha

As a teacher, I am patient, supportive, and motivating, with a strong ability to simplify complex concepts and make learning clear and accessible. I strive to connect academic knowledge with practical, real-world applications, helping students understand not only what they are learning but also why it matters.

About the lesson

I provide structured, engaging and personalized lessons in Mathematics, Statistics and Data Analysis, adapting my teaching approach to each student's level, learning style and goals.

My teaching approach includes:

1. Clear and simple explanations of complex mathematical and statistical concepts.
2. Step-by-step problem solving, helping students understand the reasoning rather than simply memorizing formulas.
3. Visual learning using diagrams, examples, tables and mind maps where appropriate.
4. Practical applications through numerical problems and real-world examples.
5. Interactive sessions where students are encouraged to ask questions and work through problems independently.
6. Personalized support based on each student's strengths and areas for improvement.
7. Exam and assignment preparation, with a focus on building confidence and problem-solving skills.

I hold a PhD in Statistics, a Master of Science in Statistics, and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Mathematics. I also have professional experience in research, data analysis and teaching/training, allowing me to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications.

Lessons can typically run for 45–60 minutes, depending on the student's requirements.

I can support students across secondary school, senior secondary and university levels, particularly in Mathematics, Statistics, Probability, Data Analysis and related quantitative subjects.
