About Eliah
Continuing my degree at one of the best drama schools in the UK, East 15, has given me interesting perspectives on teaching English. Due to my Drama school training I know a lot about plays and the way they should be analysed and I will be able to teach that in a fun and effective way. I have also performed a lot of Shakespeare giving me a lot of skills with analysing his prose and taking meaning from his terminology. While I've done essay writing and understand the way it should be structured.

Even though I will be online tutoring I try to have a physical approach to my lessons. When we are reading literature I really encourage the students to embody the character with voice, I often find that this approach will help the students to stay engaged. While it allows them to understand the character on a deeper level, making it easier when it comes to writing the character's thoughts and feelings. I aim to give 1 hour lessons with my students being aged between 5-11. My experience with tutoring comes in the form of volunteering to host at youth theatre play readings and recitals.
