About Clara
I am a student in third year of biology at Lille University of Sciences and Ispeak English fluently.
My last grades in this subject are 16.1 in "Scientific and Technical English" during which I wrote and presented a report on the link between the influence of glyphosate on the gut microbiome, and how its effects may be be considered as an environmental factor favoring autism. I also had a 19.1 grade in English in my 3rd semester, and 19.8 in my 4th semester.
My abilities in this language have been enhanced by my interest in music, books and movies; and I am therefore able to approach teaching in a less academic and more practical way, which is often what is lacking for students in difficulty.
I worked in a day summer camp, a summer camp, and at a game stand on a beach for several summers, so I worked very easily with younger students, but also tutored students from my class to help them prepare for their oral exams.
I will be happy to share my knowledge and witness the gain of confidence of my students in their learning!

I can follow the school program of my students, to deepen the courses or spend more time on them.
Without a predetermined support, I will choose with the student a text, book, film, series, or song, to involve them from the beginning in them learning.
Then we will translate together whilst taking an interest in vocabulary, conjugation and grammar, to then can discuss it and finally write a reading sheet, presentation, etc.
We will have thus approached the written and oral comprehension, and the written and oral expression. The necessary ponits tolearn by heart (basic vocabulary, irregular verbs according to the pupils level) will be addressed at each class, with flash cards.
