Step-by-step explanations: I break big ideas into small, easy steps so students don’t feel overwhelmed. Positive reinforcement: I celebrate every success—big or small—to build confidence. Active participation: I ask questions, encourage thinking aloud, and let students discover answers through guided practice. Multisensory techniques: We learn through visuals, songs, movements, storytelling, and puzzles to match the student’s learning style. Real-life connections: I relate lessons to things children already know (toys, food, hobbies, family, etc.) so learning feels familiar and meaningful. A Typical Lesson Plan (45–60 minutes) 1. Warm-Up (5 minutes) Quick conversation, review, or a fun starter activity (a riddle, mini-game, or recap question). 2. Introduction (5 minutes) I present the goal of the lesson in simple language: “Today we will learn how to…,” along with a quick example. 3. Guided Practice (15–20 minutes) We work through examples together using visual aids, drawing, manipulatives, or mini-stories. Students answer easy questions to check understanding. 4. Independent Practice (10–15 minutes) Short activities: worksheets, games, reading, or math problems depending on the subject. I assist only when necessary so the student gains confidence. 5. Review & Wrap-Up (5 minutes) We summarize the lesson, highlight what the student did well, and choose a small skill to practice at home (optional). Grade level: Elementary students (Grades KG–5).
